office powerhouse. The period-action film has earned Rs 100 crore , making a mark as the quickest movie
to have reached the milestone in 2019 so far only in a week. as compared with
Bollywood's latest filmes such as Gully Boy and Total Dhamal had earned Rs 100 crore on Day 8 and Day 9 of
their release, respectively.
Akshay Kumar
plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, the leader of the Sikhs. The film is
based on the Battle of Saragarhi that was fought between the Sikh regiment of
the British army and Afghani tribes. The Afghans numbered in ten thousands as
opposed to just 21 Sikhs, who fought till the last man. It is directed by Anurag Singh
