World's first 5G coverage city: Shanghai
5G is the next generation of cellular technology with download speed
that are 10 to 100 time faster than 4G networks. On Saturday Shanghai announced
that it has become world's first city which has 5G network coverage as well as broadband
gigabit network .Now china fell all countries and lead over the USA and other
developed countries in the race to develop next generation cellular mobile
connections. According to the report, trial base 5G networks are backed by state-run
telecom carrier China Mobile and the officially 5G service started on Saturday where
5G base stations had been deployed over the last three months to ensure full
coverage.
Shanghai vice-mayor Wu Qing made the network's first 5G video call during
a launch event using the Huawei mate x which is world's first 5G foldable Smartphone
with AI featured. The 5G stations are being installed in various
parts of China including Tibet which is the part of Huawei's plans to lead the 5G trials despite the
opposition.
