The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro are the latest additions of Xiaomi’s mid range portfolio. While the Redmi Note 7 is available in two variants in  India and China.Globally, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is available only in a single variant that will not be making its way out of India and China. The latest sales number of Xiaomi indicates that the Redmi Note 7 lineup is doing extremely well, as the company has surpassed 1 Million units sold in a month only in the Indian region.

“We are delighted to be sharing yet another wonderful milestone achieved by our popular Redmi Note series of smartphones. It is truly humbling to see the love of our Mi Fans towards the new Redmi Note 7 series that have set themselves a class apart from their segment of smartphones. This inspires us even more to further ramp up the supply for our popular Redmi Note 7 series and help all our Mi Fans access it easily.” Said by Raghu Reddy, Head of Category and Online Sales, Xiaomi India.

The Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro on the other hand, have only had a month to perform. The 6GB RAM variant of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which was the most powerful variant in the series and one of the most sought-after variants, only went on sale from today. Even within the duration of availability, the Redmi Note 7 lineup has remained difficult to purchase, as our own personal experience attests to the fact that the device goes out of stock in mere seconds of its sale page going live. As the situation stands, several potential customers are still trying to buy the phone with no success.
